Logging In with nickserv

After registering your nickname, you'll need to log in each time you connect to confirm your identity. This keeps your nickname secure and reserved just for you

To log in, use the command:
/id yourpassword

If someone else tries to use your registered nickname without logging in, their nickname will automatically change to a guest nickname, protecting your identity

Recovering Your Nickname

If your nickname is in use by someone else (or you didn't log in quickly enough), you can recover it using the recover command:

/recover <nickname> <password>

When you use a registered nickname you will be given this prompt, or one like it

For additional help and options, you can use the command:
/nickserv HELP

Always remember to keep your password secure, as it's the only way to access your nickname once registered. We do not store your password or have any access to it, ao the only saving grace is having access to the email address on your account
