Rules of the Network
These aren't laws, they're expectations — a loose framework that protects the signal from being drowned in noise. Incorrigo Syx is built for people who can think for themselves. Here's what we ask:
Common Sense Conduct
- Don't flood channels with repetitive or automated messages
- Don't harass people — verbal sparring is fine, targeted cruelty isn't
- Don't post people's private info without consent (obviously)
- Don't evade bans or try to brute-force your way back in
- Be responsible for your own presence here. If you're acting shady, expect scrutiny
Drawing the Line
- No child exploitation content or grooming — you will be dealt with abruptly
- No hate propaganda. Everyone gets a voice, but we don't give microphones to fascists
- Voices of government and companies are welcome, especially to answer for their side of the conversation
- No illegal file dumps, malware spreads, or scams. This isn't your dark web
- If you're using the network for something criminal and get caught, don't say we didn't warn you
- Incorrigo Syx has no social media presence, if you want to talk then log on it's that simple
- We are neutral when it comes to other networks, but don't take kindly to unsolicited advertisements
Channels & Autonomy
- Channel owners run their own show. Their rules apply inside, not ours
- If you get kicked from a channel, that's the channel operator's prerogative
- Sorry, you can't stash your botnet on here
- Bots are permitted on our network. Services bots are provided
/botserv HELP - We step in only when a situation goes beyond the scope of a channel
- P.S. we don't interfere with channel matters
Network Operations
- Staff aren't babysitters or gods. We're here to keep the lights on
- Respect our time. We're volunteers, not customer service
- We reserve the right to nuke any connection that's hurting the network or ruining it for others
- Most network bans are automated, don't take it personal
- Badly configured proxies and compromised machines are not permitted
- Block list checks are run but your real IP / host details are not logged or shown
Final Note
This network runs on trust, minimal rules, and shared understanding. If you're the sort of person who needs everything explicitly defined so you can game the system — this probably isn't the place for you
Think! Don't be a dick. Everything else is negotiable.

| 11 | No pretending to be someone who works on Incorrigo Syx |
| 12 | Singling out or victimising a user on purpose is not allowed |
| 13 | Still doing something after you have been told not to is known as "taking the piss" |
| 14 | Taking the piss is strictly prohibited. Anyone taking the piss will be dealt with |
| 15 | Catfishing is impossible to preside over in moderation, it is your responsibility to establish the identity of the person you are talking to |
| 16 | We will not be held responsible for losses or damage caused, during or following an interaction of anyone involved on Incorrigo Syx |
| 17 | This is an interactive text relay network, without some of the moderation capability typicelly associated with social media networks - use at your own risk |
| 18 | Any activity that is brought to our knowledge, which we know or suspect is related to criminal offences - particularly if it's some kind of televised expose - will be shut down do not pass go, do not collect £200 |

| 02 | You are permitted to use all the features and furnishings provided by botserv |
| 03 | It is permitted to use a bot / script as long as it doesn't go beyond the scope of your own channel / users of your own channel |
| 04 | Even though we could do with the stats, please don't keep your botnet here |
| 05 | Using / brinigng your compromised machines to this network is not permitted |
| 06 | Mass messaging or issue of (distributed) denial of service attacks using our network in any context is probably bannable |
| 07 | If you're banned, then making new accounts / using someone else's identity to continue whatever you were banned for will get them banned too |
| 08 | Being kind and providing entertainment / rendering assistance to other users will be appreciated, and if possible your participation will be rewarded |
| 09 | Clients that are made from generative or any other kind of AI are allowed BUT they must not commit wanton plagiarism or theft of intellectual property or in any way act in service of that purpose |

| 01 | Channel owner / admin status is not available on unregistered channels. If you're being clever and using chanserv to obtain this status it will be removed from you |
| 02 | The decision of the channel owner / operator is final. We will not get involved |
| 03 | Pretending to be an official / incorrigo syx channel is strictly prohibited |
| 04 | Any channels found to be in service of illegal activity / used for abuse will be killed |
| 05 | Sending someone to a fake channel for any organisation / support is not allowed, particularly, defrauding someone on a fake channel because they were looking for help |
| 06 | Dark net organisations and users are permitted, as long as no illegal activity takes place here |
| 07 | Excessive channel registration is not allowed, we will be the judge of what is excessive |
| 08 | Disputes over unregistered or newly registered channels will be seen on a case by case basis |
| 09 | If you make someone a channel operator, and they register the channel, then it's fair game. You snooze you lose dood |
| 10 | If an IRC operator joins the channel it is the responsibility of all users to co-operate with them - unless they stand down from this obligation and are just there to chill |
| 11 | A successful channel takeover will be assessed for originality, the greater good, and the will of the people. Some merit will also be awarded if an aspect of it is hilarious |
| 12 | You can suggest your channel to people if there is a rapport and the general interest in it is not lobbied or coerced |
| 13 | Misogyny is strictly prohibited in all channel names, messages, or notices |
